GroveArts are a UK, Manchester based concern whose work covers visual arts and creative arts workshops aimed at schoolchildren. We offer a range of creative arts workshops for children that include painting, 3D design sculpture, pebble mosaic, articulated paper sculptures collage, fabric banner making, masks, costumes, printing and batik. These workshops can be linked to the National Curriculum or totally separate. GroveArts have worked with primary schools to celebrate the school's centenary, religious festivals and 'art' weeks, and have explored furniture design, creatures, past and present, storytelling and bible stories. GroveArts was set up four years ago by professional visual artist Elaine Brett to provide tailored creative arts workshops for children. Elaine qualified from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA hons. degree in fine art, painting landscapes, seascapes and portraits in oils. Elaine has worked for floating theatre ship Walk The Plank, Trafford Borough Council and the British Waterways Board, delivering workshops or devising them. Manchester, Salford, Trafford and Cheshire visual arts Daily school-based creative arts workshops for children or longer residencies are available along with after-school art clubs. Based in the North West of England, GroveArts work with a variety of visual artists to provide individual and stimulating creative arts workshops for kids. Visual Arts UK In addition to school-based creative workshops, GroveArts can organise and deliver InSet training either in school or at the Lowry gallery, Salford. Elaine Brett is the Lowry's InSet artist and also delivers KS1, 2 and 3 workshops on Lowry's range of work.
